Red Bull is an energy drink sold by Austrian company Red Bull GmbH, created in 1987. In terms of market share, Red Bull is the highest selling energy drink in the world, with 5.387 billion cans sold in 2013.[1][2][3][4]

Austrian entrepreneur Dietrich Mateschitz was inspired by a pre-existing energy drink named Krating Daeng (Thai: กระทิงแดงThai pronunciation: [kràtʰiŋ dɛːŋ]), which was first invented and sold in Thailand. He took this idea, modified the ingredients to suit the tastes of westerners,[5] and, in partnership with Chaleo Yoovidhya, founded Red Bull GmbH in Austria

Monster Energy is an energy drink, launched by Monster Beverage Corporation in April 2002.[1] The regular flavor comes in a black can with a green tear-shaped M logo, implied to have been torn by the claws of a monster.[2] The company is also known for supporting many extreme sports events such as BMX, Motocross, skateboarding and snowboarding, as well as eSports. In addition, Monster Energy promotes a number of music bands around the world, like Asking Alexandria, The Word Alive and Shinedown.

There are now 34 different drinks under the Monster umbrella in North America including its core Monster Energy line, Java Monster, Extra Strength, Import, Rehab and Muscle Monster.

Energy drinks were an active subset of the early soft drink industry; Pepsi, for instance, was originally marketed as an energy booster. Coca-Cola's name was derived from its two active ingredients, both known stimulants: coca leaves and kola nuts (a source of caffeine). Fresh coca leaves were replaced by "spent" ones in 1904 because of concerns over the use of cocaine in food products. The federal lawsuit "United States v. Shark Energy Drink is an energy drink sold by Thai company Osotspa Co., Ltd. of Thailand, which was modified the ingredients from the pre-existing M-150 (energy drink) that launched in 1970, five years after it was appointed by Taisho Pharmaceutical[1] with the licensees to manufactured the world first energy drink from Japan called Lipovitan D.

Shark Energy Drink is available in a number of variations, including carbonated, uncarbonated versions, sugared and sugar-free. The drink is manufactured in Thailand by the Osotspa Co. Ltd in Bangkok, and also in Europe by Shark AG in Innsbruck, Austria.

Shark Energy Drink is available in over 89 countries, and made its debut in the US in 2008. The US headquarters are located in Miami, FL. The drink is slightly promoted in America, Europe and Asia.
